| | | | „ Dear Valued Client, It’s that time of year again. Just like thousands of delegates from across the world, we are getting prepared to attend Sibos, the annual landmark conference for the financial services industry which this year takes place in Beijing for the first time. With all eyes turned to East Asia, this edition of our IN.sights newsletter begins with a special roundtable of our experts discussing trends in China and South Korea, two of the region’s most dynamic markets. The motto for this year’s conference is “Connecting the future of finance”, and this is a theme that our experts explore as they discuss the ways in which the financial industry continues to evolve. In this issue, they look to the future by analysing some of the most prominent trends across international trade, payments, regulation and innovation – and, despite a sometimes challenging macro environment, the overall picture is that the future of our industry is exciting. Whether or not you’re travelling to Beijing, we hope you will take a moment to enjoy our latest edition of IN.sights. I look forward to seeing many of you at Sibos.
